Cotton, canvas, rubber, Sunbrella, neoprene, Hypalon, nylon including ripstop nylon, PET, acrylic, fiberglass/fibreglass, stainless steel, aluminium, polyester, polyethylene, Dacron, polypropylene (PP), polyurethane (PU), technical, breathable and waterproof fabrics, non-treated patent leather, other non-silicone-treated synthetic fabrics, etc. Not suitable for repairing PVC or vinyl materials or for use on the coated side of PVC-vinyl-coated fabrics.

Further information

• Where necessary, patch should be cut or trimmed to size according to the size and position of the repair to be done. • Apply at ambient temperature, ensuring not to trap air bubbles, water, or touching or contaminating the adhesive side. • The patch will form a 90% bond immediately it is applied. • It then takes another hour at ambient temperature to form a full, permanent bond with the surface being repaired. • Once applied, Tear-Aid Type A will resist temperatures down to -30°C and all the way up to +60°C.
