{"id":4868,"date":"2018-08-16T09:35:54","date_gmt":"2018-08-16T09:35:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/xstore.8theme.com\/?p=4868"},"modified":"2024-08-24T16:55:10","modified_gmt":"2024-08-24T16:55:10","slug":"nts-europe-mistystix-history","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nts-europe.eu\/fr\/nts-europe-mistystix-history\/","title":{"rendered":"MistyStix &#8211; A brief history"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"4868\" class=\"elementor elementor-4868\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-6f2a623d elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"6f2a623d\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-10d68f49\" data-id=\"10d68f49\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2461e8e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2461e8e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>While Henry Ford may indeed have said &#8220;Any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it\u2019s black&#8221;, referring to his Model T, his reasons for producing the world&#8217;s very first &#8220;people&#8217;s car&#8221; (or &#8220;volkswagen&#8221; in German) in just one colour for ten of the nineteen years it was manufactured, have been subject to much speculation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d5c2892 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d5c2892\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote><p>It is now widely accepted that the sole reason he offered his car in just one colour &#8211; black &#8211; was because he wanted to keep the cost down.<\/p><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6a2f12be elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6a2f12be\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Ford Motor Company did in fact offer the Model T Ford in other colours either side of the ten-year period when black was the only offering, though the decision to focus on a wholly-black vehicle was quite probably instrumental in getting the sale price of the motorcar down from $850 to just $260 (which is less than $7000 dollars in today&#8217;s money).\n<img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4792\" src=\"https:\/\/nts-europe.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/mistystix-colour-black-servicedomiciliohielo-es.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"260\" \/>\nWhile not quite as famous as the Model T, MistyStix nevertheless underwent a similar developmental history, and much to the chagrin of some who continue to come across images of multicoloured MistyStix all across the Internet, the manufacturer has had to stop mass production of a range of colours simply because this had the effect of pushing up the price dramatically.\n\nInitially, MistyStix were available in a range of solid and transparent colours: green, yellow, blue, black and red. The main driving force behind offering multicoloured MistyStix was the ability to mix and match MistySticks to the crazy range of colours which cocktails came in.\n\nThis resulted in escalating costs, shortages of the most popular colours &#8211; and surpluses of less popular ones.\n\nThe solution would most certainly have received Mr Ford&#8217;s approval, which was to manufacture them in just one colour. Well, it&#8217;s not even really a colour. MistyStix are now produced in a transparent white, the logic being that they will fit in with any colour cocktail drink.<img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4792\" src=\"https:\/\/nts-europe.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/MistyStix-Packs-2023.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"260\" \/>\n\nWhat we can do, however, for those who are still wanting to get hold of coloured MistyStix, is to manufacture to order. There is, of course, a minimum order for any individual colour, but if you are looking to obtain MistyStix in, say, your company&#8217;s corporate blue (or green or yellow or red, in either solid or transparent), then we can do this.
