KLIPSKI FRICTION GRIPS WILL PROLONG YOUR KLIPSKIS' USEFUL LIFE FOR YEARS.
The the job of the friction pads on each KlipSki is to reduce the chances of the KlipSkis to an absolute minimum.
In fact, the complete, fully-assembled skis-poles-KlipSkis combination is kept rigid not only by the friction pads, but also by the hooks into which the poles clip. The hooks are purposefully stiff for this purpose.
Renewing your friction pads
Remove the old pads and use rubbing alcohol to remove any traces of glue from the inner blades of each KlipSki.
Leave to dry and wipe off any residue with a clean cloth.
Carefully remove the backing paper from one of the new friction pads and align it to one of the the blades. Press firmly into place.
Repeat this action for the three remaining blades.
Job done!
The KLIPSKI friction pads can be clearly seen in the illustration. There are two pairs of replacement pads in every pack – sufficient to maintain one pair of KlipSkis.
Replacing your KLIPSKI friction pads is child’s play! Replacing these is simply a case of peeling off the old ones, cleaning off any glue residue that they may have left behind on the KlipSkis, and applying the new pads.
